ROGULUS X SZWELAS und GOS

Zespół stanowią muzycy - kompozytorzy. Zespół koncertuje od roku 2000. Muzycy zespołu wykorzystują rzadkie techniki artykulacji dźwięku i preparacji oraz eksperymentują w obszarze współczesnych form wyrazu. Jako wykonawcy stosują nieortodoksyjne techniki gry na instrumentach koncentrując się przede wszystkim na sonorystycznych aspektach muzyki. Rogulus i Szwelas są ponadto założycielami niezależnej wytwórni nagraniowej "TNS Records RXS" działającej we współpracy z fundacją TNS z Gdańska.

Zespół koncertuje od roku 2000. Muzycy zespołu koncertowali na licznych festiwalach, festiwalach m.in: Europejskim festiwalu współczesnej Muzyki improwizowanej w Gdańsku, Gdynia Sumer Jaz Days, Warsaw Sumer Jazz Days, Electronic jazz festiwal w Warszawie, Warszawska Jesień, Jena Jazz Thuringen festiwal w Niemczech, Art. Agenda w Sztokholmie, SKIP festiwal w Petersburgu w Rosji i wielu innych.

The band of contemporary improvised music "Rogulus X Szwelas und Gos" is playing concerts since 2000. The consciousness of sound, feeling the vibrations, that is the source of a very unusual way "Rogulus X Szwelas und Gos" create and discover new spheres of music. Sonorous approach, articulation and preparation are essential elements of their improvisation. The musicians experiment in the field of contemporary music forms. They based on the tradition of sonoristic music, post-Cage tradition and they also use the elements of post-free jazz.

Music played by the group is energetic, expressive and full of temperament. The invention of all members of the project brings the final character of the music. The musicians brake covenants and traditional approach to improvisation. Their artistic creation is close to performance because they create a musical arte-fact. Rogulus X Szwelas und Gos took successful part in many concerts and festivals in Poland and European Union Countries. Besides musicians established their own independent record label TNS Records RXS , which is cooperating with TNS foundation from Gdańsk. They organize once a year a festival of improvised music.

Musicians of the band were playing concerts on many festivals: The European Festival of Contemporary Improvisation Music in Gdańsk, Gdynia Summer Jazz Days, Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, Electronic Music festival in Warsaw, Warsaw Autumn festival, Jena Jazz Thouringen festival in Germany, Art. Agenda in Stockholm.
